Swiss Vinyl Feast #6

Taking care of a couple requests with this post.

WARNING: If you are used to a diet of powerpop and pop-punk, then listening to the records in this package may cause headaches and indigestion!

For your enjoyment(?) we have:
Chaotik Th / Tip-Ex split EP (Oi / Discharge / Hart / Dischord // Lange Lange Strasse Lang / Schleicher) (-, 1983)
Chin Chin - We Don´t Wanna Be Prisoners // Desires Only / The World´s Burning EP (Farmer, 1984)

Platza - Kontrolle / Spiegelbild / Blinder Mann / Apple Pie // Einer fliegt / Frau Krähmann 12" EP (R.F. 1003, 1982)

For sleeve scans see: Punk-Disco

Chin Chin had some later releases, a 12" and LP, around 1986. As far as I know none of the other bands had any other releases.

Don't worry, we'll return to some nice soothing powerpop compilations soon!

Tripple Cripple / Tuppjukk (Sweden, 1981)

Today's post from Sweden is brought to you by the letter 'T'. Both of these records have sold on eBay for $200+ so maybe they are worth a listen?

Tripple Cripple did only the 'Rensar Stan' EP and a track on the Svenska Tonårsgrupper Vol. 3 LP that was posted previously. That one sold on eBay not so long ago for $100+. 'Born To Fuck' from the EP was included on the Killed By Death #50 LP. 'Baby I Don't Mind' was on Powerpearls Vol. 10 and the photo on the cover of the 7" was used on the front cover of the LP.

Tuppjukk released only this 7", the first on the EFMD label that also had 7"s from GPJ, Dom Vässade, ABKK, Phase Nine and Tolstoys Toy. The A side was on Killed By Death #666.

Tripple Cripple - Rensar Stan EP (Funbo City Rockers / High Heels'n Leather / Pengarna eller trosorna! // Born To Fuck / Baby I Don't Mind / Adjö) (Quasimodo 0001-S, 1981)

Tuppjukk - Jag vill må bra / Kåt katt i mars 7" (EFMD-1, 1980)

Swiss punk videos

I've never really spent much time looking around You Tube but today I came across some video of some old Swiss bands. Most of you have probably seen these already but in case you haven't, check them out. These should lead you to lots more.

Swiss Vinyl Feast #5

This will be the last bunch of Swiss things for a little while. There will be more to come later after some other requests are done.

Sozz - Patrol Car / Lurch Gang 7" (Farmer P-117, 1979)
Sozz - Law and Order / All The Cops In The Street 7" (Farmer P117-2, 1980)
Sperma - Züri Punx / Bombs 7" (Another Swiss Label ASL 1, 1979)
Sperma - Love Love / Everything I Do Is Wrong 7" (Another Swiss Label ASL 7, 1980)
Sperma - Sinnlos / [Züri Punx] 7" (Another Swiss Label ASL 8, 1980)
Sperma - Schmier / No More Love / Radio 12" EP (Another Swiss Label ASL 2, 1979)
TNT - Züri brännt / 131 / Subwayscene EP (Vox Pop 3007, 1979)
TNT - I Remember 77 / Fight 7" (Off Course FFC 8008, 1980)
TNT - Razzia / They Robbed Us 7" (Disctrade P117, 1981)

For sleeve scans see: Punk-Disco

Sozz released just these 2 7"s. Sperma had these 3 7"s and the 12". The b side of the "Sinnlos" 7" is Züri Punx, same as the 1st 7". Besides these 3 7"s TNT also released a 10" EP in 1983 that I may post later. There was also a bootleg issue of all 3 7"s on a 7" EP.

NOTE: There is a CD with all the TNT 7" tracks plus 2 bonus tracks from Record Shop Base in Japan. Yeah, I know CD's suck and blah, blah, blah but I like to see reissues of good old punk in whatever format. If someone wants to look into releasing this on a 12" then please do. I would certainly buy one.

Hog (Sweden, 1979/1980)

Another request this time. Hog released their first LP in 1979 and quickly followed with another in 1980. That's all I know about. I've been asked by several people what they sound like, now you can hear for yourself. I wouldn't call them punk but I do like them. Good garage rock with some 60's influences, pleasant listening overall. I suppose it is sort of strange that a Swedish band would release 2 LPs of songs in English. Maybe they were looking for some international exposure?

Hog - A Shot Of A Lot LP (Däcka SYD-001, 1979)
(Unconscious / Thoughts / The Last Trip / Can't Get Enough / Clock On The Wall / To The Other Side // Right In Time / When I Got You / No Return / Tea-Time / Rain)

Hog - Off The Record LP (Däcka SYD-002, 1980)
(Livin' Fast / All For You / Not Tonight / Tomorrow's Yesterday / Up And Down / Asylum, Please // Feels So Right / Ridin' High / Strange Condition / Pretty Face / Tranqualiez-lie / Hit Your Brain)
