Obscure Canada - Vol. 2

Merry New Year!

To start off 2010 here is another bunch of less known Canadian songs all taken from 7"s. Some have appeared as "KBD", "punk" or "powerpop" on eBay. Have a listen and decide if they are worth searching for.

Aircuts - Sheila (Vancouver, 1980) This one has been on eBay a few times recently selling for around $100.
Easy Money - Standing In Your Shadow (Victoria, 1980) From the second of 2 7"s.
Existers - Telex Love (Toronto, 1979)
Extroverts - Political Animals (Regina, 1980) The A side is on the Only In Canada, Eh 77-81 Volume 1 CD compilation.
Filters - NFG / I Don't Know (Toronto?, 1981) On the Mannequin label (Curtains, Kinetic Ideals, Ceramic Hello, etc)
IQ - Burn Me (Vancouver, 1980)
Joe Naylor - I'm Canadian Beer (Vancouver, 1980)
Klo - No Money (Toronto, 1980)
Patterns - Always Sixteen (Toronto?, 1978?)
Perks - McPig (London, 1978?)
Plan Nine - I Ain't No Robot / Fatal Femme (Calgary, 1980) Same label (Aura) as the Cutz and Verdix.
Pop Stress - So Good To Be In Love (Montreal, 1981)
Rage - I've Got Your Number / Stay (Toronto, 1981)
Result - Suburban Addicts (Hamilton, 1981)

Hi

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the posts last year, and this one too!

A lot of interesting stuff!

Continuing with the Canadian theme, would you by any chance have any of these, please?

Antennas “No Words” (Toronto, 198?)
Back Street Alley 7" (London, 198?)
Falcon “Hot Thoughts” (Hamilton, 1982?)
Glammatron 12" (Toronto, 1982?, ex-Arson)
Living End “Death At An Early Age” (Toronto, 198?)
Murray Reid Group “Drive Me Insane” (Ottawa? 1981?)
The Reasons “Take Me Back” (Toronto?; 198?)
Skoolboyz “Where’s My Waitress?” (Vancouver, 1982)
Song Supply “Artistic Drywall” (Edmonton, 198?)

Cheers,

Mike

Mannequin Records was established in Burlington. We sometimes used an office in Oakville too.

Re comment #2:
Antennas is from 1987 and not good. I have a 7" with "No Words" on both sides. Glamatron had an LP that I've seen but never cheaply enough to take a chance on it. Apparently it has some minimal/synth collector interest. Living End 7" I have. "Death At An Early Age" is OK and the A side is a Steppenwolf cover if I remember right. Murray Reid and Skoolboyz are just rock from what I vaguely remember, at least what I've heard. Falcon I've seen recently for sale online but someone beat me to it. Back Street Alley, The Reasons and Song Supply are new to me.

I don't know Back Street Alley or the Reasons but I wouldn't waste time or money on any of the others.
